Indo-Bangla Tunnel Accused Taken to Police Custody at Islampur

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 21st June, 2017: The Additional Chief Judicial Court of Islampur today ordered for 7 days Police Custody for the accused arrested in connection with the Indo-Bangla border Tunnel case today. After BSF have lodged a complaint, the Chopra police learned that the two accused Mofiz and Subhan have applied for surrendering in the court.

Immediately the investigating officer raised an alarm against the accused to the court. In response to that, the court gave Judicial Custody to the accused. Today it was converted into 7-day police custody. The sub-inspector of Chopra Police station Mr. Tarun Karmakar told TNI that “The Additional Chief Judicial Court ordered 7 days Police Custody for the accused”.
